Oil refining is the process of converting crude oil into usable products like petrol, diesel fuel, kerosene, jet fuel, heating oil, and other petrochemicals. Oil refining is a sophisticated and necessary process that transforms crude oil into valuable products utilized in a variety of businesses and in daily life.
Vegetable Oil Refinery Plant

The solvent extraction and distillation processes produce crude oil, which contains inherent harmful constituents such as Free Fatty Acids (FFAs), gums, sediments, odoriferous and colouring materials, phosphatides, hydrocarbons, traces of pesticides, and heavy metals that must be refined for human consumption. Refining is the process of removing undesirable ingredients from extracted oil in an edible oil refinery plant without sacrificing valuable features or altering the composition.
Oleo Chemical
Oleo chemicals are compounds made from natural fats and oils. They are similar to petrochemicals, which are chemicals generated from petroleum. Oleochemicals are regarded as more environmentally benign than petrochemicals because they are sourced from renewable resources. The manufacture of oleo compounds can also help to reduce greenhouse gas emissions if done sustainably.

The Crude Glycerin obtained from the process of Oils / Fats Splitting (Sweet Water Crude), Saponification (Spent Lye Crude), or Trans Esterification (Biodiesel Crude) can be converted to Refined Glycerin of various grades (Chemically Pure, Industrial, or Pharma) by performing the following steps in order.
· Drying, cumulation, distillation, and deodorization.
· Bleaching can be done with a salt decanter or an agitated/wipe film
· Evaporator (optional for higher yield and less waste).
